Ralph has been taking pictures from a very young age using a 35mm film camera. He toured Ireland with his wife in 2008 and has taken pictures of moments with more depth to photographs of landscapes as there wasn't much wildlife there. He has taken courses in photography at college to learn how to use a camera properly for projects and content. In 2012, Ralph visited Africa with a professional photographer and was overwhelmed with what he had experienced and learnt during his time there and this encouraged him to take up wildlife photography
and upgrade his equipment.
In 2014, Ralph took photography courses from the same professional whom he accompanied to Africa and learned a lot more about photography. Ralph believes that if one wants to take pictures of wildlife, you have to be prepared with two of everything and in landscape photography, you have to be at the right place at the right time for that perfect shot.
In 2015, he toured Sri Lanka with friends and was amazed by the wildlife there, protected by the law so as not to be harmed in any way, making the wildlife not afraid of man. Upon the advice of family and friends, he learnt to promote his work on the internet and started to sell the pictures through his website.
